Sidney was a talented seamstress and often tailor made her own clothes. She loved to fish, work in her garden, can food, working in her yard tending to her beloved roses and cooking for her loved ones. Her specialties were chicken, vegetable soup, and fried chicken. Her home was always spotless. She also enjoyed visiting with her sister(s)-in-law and her many nieces and nephews. She loved family reunions and shopping and was also a member of Self Creek Baptist Church. She worked at the Monte Glove Plant and retired after 50 years but later returned to work there for five more years. She was known for her love for her family, her sense of humor and her spirit of independence. Those who were blessed to know her understand that her love for them and the imprint she left on their hearts and in their lives exceed the quantity of time that she was with us. She will be greatly missed.
