Shelton Reed Tillery age 28, passed away on June 6, 2024, in D'Iberville, MS. Shelton was born on April 20, 1996 in Starkville, MS to Frank Austin and Marinda N. "Mandy" Pinnix Tillery. He was a graduate of East Webster High School in Webster County, MS and also attended Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi and University of Mississippi--Ole Miss in Oxford, MS where he received his Master of Business Administration Degree. He was employed by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Ocean Springs, Mississippi where he served as Contract Manager. Shelton was a member of Mosaic Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He is survived by his parents; Frank and Mandy Pinnix Tillery, Maben, MS, his maternal grandparents; Ray and Marie Pinnix, Maben, MS, three aunts; Monica (Devin) Mixon, Maben, MS, Renee (Lowell) Hitt, Eupora, MS and Shelly (Russ) Huddleston, Maben, MS, one uncle; Harry (Joyce) Tillery, Meridian, MS, six first cousins; Marlie Pinnix, Jordan Mixon, Nathan Hitt, Tiffany Slaughter, Hannah Huddleston and Grace Rogers and a host of other Tillery cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; John and Elizabeth Tillery. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Maben First Baptist Church in Maben, MS. Visitation will be 2:00PM until service time at 3:00PM on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Maben First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Oktibbeha County, MS. Rev. Tommy Temple will officiate. Pallbearers will be Evan Allred, Nathan Hitt, Jordan Mixon, Trey Stennis, Jake Williams and John Wofford Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Spencer Carden, Tyler Doss, Chase Ray and Logan White. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
