Visitation will be 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday 4/4/23 at Oliver Funeral Home and 9:00AM until 10:00AM Wednesday at Cumberland Baptist Church. Sammie L. Nason, 86, self employed Farmer, Logger, Dairyman and House Relocator, died 4/3/23 at North MS Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Funeral Services were held 10:00AM Wednesday 4/5/23 at Cumberland Baptist Church in Cumberland, MS, with burial in Providence Cemetery near Maben, MS. Bro. Donnie Buckner officiated. Pallbearers were; Link Nason, Zach Nason, Gabe Nason, Bert Crowley, Joe Pierce and Wayne Monts. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lora Sylvester Nason and Virginia Ann Bailey Nason, his wife; Barbara C. Nason, his sister; Annette Nason Reeves and his grandson; Brent Nason. Mr. Sammie is survived by two daughters; Virginia (John) Wilbanks, and Elizabeth (Jason) Jenkins both of Maben, MS and Link (Tonya) Nason, Mathiston, MS and five grandchildren; Addison (Olin) Miller, Zach Nason, Lora Beth Nason, Gabe Nason, and Allie Grace Jenkins.
