Ronald Edward Woods

Ronald Edward Woods age 77 of Stewart, MS, passed away Thursday morning, February 13, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Ronald was born in Choctaw County, MS on March 1, 1947, to Kenneth Boyce Woods and Clara Mae Davis Woods. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Choctaw County, MS, a member of the United States Army National Guard and a retired Crane Operator with the Railroad. Ronald is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Jeffrey) Pruitt, Eupora, MS; one sister, Pamela (Bill) Pearson, Stewart, MS; two brothers, Gerald (Betty) Woods, Stewart, MS and David Woods, Stewart, MS; one uncle, Colon (Betty) Woods, Duck Hill, MS; two grandsons, Ryan (Jami) Pruitt and Riley Pruitt; one great granddaughter that is expected in May, Ava Pruitt and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Ann Box Woods; both parents, Kenneth Boyce and Clara Mae Davis Woods; one brother, Donny Joe Woods and one niece and her spouse, Gwen (Pepper) Woods Sisson. Funeral Services for Mr. Ronald will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 1:00PM until time for services at 3:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Ebenezer Cemetery. Rev. Terry Wills will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Gerald Woods, David Woods, Mike Woods, Jeremy Woods, Jared Wade Woods and Thomas Pruitt. The family requests that all memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is entrusted with all arrangements for the Woods family.
