Masks must be worn, social distancing maintained and close contact kept to a minimum. Maben, MS Mr. Rance Truman Fisher, 86, retired welder, died 12/30/20 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. Funeral/Graveside Services were held 1:00PM Saturday 1/2/21 at Spring Valley Cemetery in Mathiston, MS. Bro. Brad Latham officiated. He retired from Babcock & Wilcox Mfg. in West Point after working 32 years as a welder and was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church, in Cumberland, MS. Truman was an avid hunter, loved to fish and was one of the best gardeners around. The only thing that he was more proud of than his 3 pound tomato was his 5 girls, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He especially enjoyed his daily morning visits with his coffee buddies. He was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years; Clois Vaughan Fisher as well as his parents; Rance and Nellie Fisher, his 4 sisters; Mamie, Elsie, Irene and Etta Mae and 2 brothers; Robert "Sonny" and Wayman. Mr. Truman is survived by his 5 daughters; Rhonda Fisher (Tom) Cornelius, Carolyn Fisher Hawkins, Jeanette Fisher, Lisa Fisher (Len) Wood and Kimberly Fisher, his 5 grandchildren; Amanda Miles (Paul) White, Chad (Nicole) Hawkins, Lauren (Michael) Hawkins, Rance Cecil Colton (Caryn) Lyles, Kaylee (Dylan) Brown and his 3 great grandchildren; Bella Hawkins, Tripp White and Miles White.
