April 15, 1943 — March 4, 2025

Eupora, MS

Priscilla Ann Reves age 81, a beloved and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully surrounded by her cherished memories and loved ones on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center Long-Term Care in Eupora, MS. Born as the only child to Roy Kelly "Buster" Reves and Jane Murphy Reves on April 15, 1943 in Eupora, MS, Priscilla's life was a testament to her passion for learning, history, and nature. Priscilla embarked on her educational journey within the Eupora school system, where her exceptional scholastic achievements reflected her joy of learning. She graduated in just three years from Mississippi State University with a degree in secondary education, specializing in math. Priscilla then devoted her career to teaching math at Eupora High School, where she had the opportunity to guide numerous students through advanced math courses. She took immense pride in witnessing her students become successful doctors, lawyers, engineers, and teachers, often sharing how their achievements brought her great joy. After her teaching career, Priscilla served the State of Mississippi Auditor's office, where she traveled the state auditing schools. Her passion for antiques led her to open a small shop in the back of her house, selling furniture and collectible items. Priscilla found immense joy in working in her yard, whether raking leaves, cleaning out flower beds, or tending to her plants. She cherished the moments spent outdoors and loved sitting on her porch swing, enjoying the beauty of nature. Her meticulous nature and dedication to completing projects with excellence were exemplified in her efforts to refurbish the senior class pictures of Eupora High School. Priscilla spent countless hours cleaning picture frames, collecting photos, and planning the display of these portraits. A history enthusiast, Priscilla researched and wrote a book about the history of Eupora, which she shared with many friends and associates. Her determination allowed her to uncover valuable information about the town's history. Priscilla enjoyed numerous activities throughout her life, including working in her yard and cutting grass even in her seventies during hot Mississippi weather; needlework, crocheting, needlepoint, and quilting; remodeling and knocking down walls in her house; caring for her parents with tender love and care; playing the piano; creating paintings as a talented artist; visiting with friends; working hard at any task she set her mind to with a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Reves will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Priscilla is survived by many cousins. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Roy Kelly "Buster" Reves and Jane Murphy Reves.
