Phyllis Marchella Bingham Bell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, Phyllis Marchella Bingham Bell. Phyllis was born on November 22, 1957, in Eupora, MS to John L. Bingham and Juanita Harrison Bingham and departed this life at the age of 66 on October 2, 2024, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Phyllis dedicated herself to her role as a Dietary Aide at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. Phyllis had a devotion of love and affection to her children and to all who knew her. Phyllis is survived by her two loving daughters; Lashanta (Rico) Ivy, Memphis, TN and Crystal G. (Eddie) Dotson, Weir, MS, one son; Jeffery (Vanoria) Patterson, Eupora, MS, six brothers; Arnold (Reba) Harrison, Chicago, IL, Eugene (Sabrina) Bingham, Starkville, MS, John L. (Lottie) Bingham, Eupora, MS, Michael (Christeen) Bingham, Eupora, MS, James (Irma) Bingham, Starkville, MS and Joseph (Nicole) Bingham, Canton, MS, twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories they shared together. She is preceded in death by her parents; John L. and Juanita Bingham, two sons; Larry Darnell Patterson and Steven Patterson, two sisters; Quanita Bingham and Malinda Bingham and three brothers; David Bingham, William Bingham and Rufus Bingham. Those who knew Phyllis will remember her for her warm heart, contagious smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering strength. A Funeral Service to celebrate Phyllis' life will be held at 1:00PM at the Eupora Civic Center on October 12, 2024. Following the service, Phyllis will be laid to rest at Piney Jordan Cemetery in Eupora, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at the Eupora Civic Center instead of Piney Jordan Cemetery. A time of Visitation for Phyllis' friends will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, MS. Rev. Andrew Windrick will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jamarrion Butts, Tamarus Cunningham, Kaliha Holmes, Jaron Ivy, Keeyvontae Silas and Kelvin Woodard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phyllis' brothers. As we gather to honor and remember Phyllis, let us rejoice in the impact she had on all those whose lives she touched. Through her kindness and dedication, Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever live on in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
