Martha Sue Phelps Nevels

Mathiston, MS Martha Sue Phelps Nevels, 78, retired certified nursing assistant and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died November 28, 2023 at her residence in Mathiston, MS. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Nevels is survived by her daughter; Peggy Joyce Green, Mathiston, MS, her sons; Frank Green, Mathiston, MS, Jerry David Nevels, Jr., Okeene, OK, Jerry Nevels III, Enid OK and Charles Wayne Nevels, Vicksburg, MS, one brother; Charles Phelps, Louisiana and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Martha Sue was born in Mathiston, MS on December 23, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents; John Henry Phelps and Lois Alford Phelps and husband; Jerry David Nevels, Sr. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of all arrangements.
