Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday October 25, 2022 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS with burial in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County MS. Visitation will be Noon until 2:00PM Tuesday October 25, 2022 at Oliver Funeral Home, Eupora, MS. The Family requests memorials be made to Mark's charity of choice: Starkville Pregnancy Care Center, 402 University Drive, Starkville, MS 39759. On October 22, 2022, Mark Loren Wood, a loving husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully at home in Ackerman, MS from Congestive heart failure. Mark is survived by his loving wife Lorie of 30 years and their daughter Loren, Married to Tyler Moffitt. His grandchildren are Lizzie and Talon Moffitt. His father is the late Marshall Wood and mother is Judy Wood. He is also survived by his sisters Teresa Chastain and Holly Higgins. Mark was known as a generous, Light-hearted and compassionate soul. He loved the simple things in life like spending time with his family and playing the piano which was one of his many talents. He attended the school of engineering at Mississippi State University, which led him to aspire his entrepreneurship. He then purchased the Chalet, a custom framing and printing business, which has been his livelihood until the day he passed. With heavy hearts, the Wood/Moffitt family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved Mark Wood. His sharp wit, dry sense of humor, warm heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed.
