Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday 6/14/23 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Calhoun County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Bethlehem Cemetry in Calhoun County, MS. Visitation will be 6:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday 6/13/23 at Oliver Funeral Home and Noon until 2:00PM Wednesday 6/14/23 at Oliver Funeral Home. Mrs. Linda Haimes Wright, 77, homemaker, died 6/11/23 at North MS Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Funeral Services were held 2:00PM Wednesday 6/14/23 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Calhoun County, MS. Bro. Jon Haimes officiated. Pallbearers were; Billy Jeff Abbott, Eddie Abbott, Clinton Wright, Eli Gore, Bill Gilliland, and Bill Haimes. Honorary Pallbearers were; Tony Anthony and Saxton Brown. She was a member of Hohenlinden Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; William Cleophus and Annie Laura Haimes, her first husband; Curtis Abbott and her brother; Dale Haimes. Mrs. Linda is survived by her husband; Joseph "Teddy" Wright, Mathiston, MS, three daughters; Kathy (Mike) Gore, Melinda (Ken) Williams, and Lisa Abbott (Joseph) Lampard, all of Mathiston, MS, two sisters; Doris Tate, Illinois, Barbara (Steve) Norwood, Banner, MS, brother; Jerry (Betty) Haimes, Houston, MS and her step-son; Joe (Vickie) Wright, Maben, MS, fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Linda was a seamstress and loved cooking for friends and loved ones. She will be greatly missed.
