Libby Jean Evans Middleton, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Libby was born March 15, 1931 in Webster County, MS to the late Talbert Henderson Evans and Nannie Sue Carroll Evans. She served as Radio Dispatcher for the Webster County Sheriff's Department and also worked as Assistant City Clerk for the City of Eupora until she retired. Libby was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bellefontaine, MS. She is survived by her two daughters; Ann Darley, Del Rio, TX and Lisa (David) Pittman, Bellefontaine, MS, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one sister-in-law; Sue Evans, Bellefontaine, MS. Libby is preceded in death by her parents; Talbert Henderson Evans and Nannie Sue Carroll Evans, her husband; Bill Middleton, an infant son; David Middleton, two other sons; Mike and Bobby Middleton, two sisters; Catherine Weddle and Nina Kay Latham, two brothers; Joe Carroll Evans and James Henderson Evans and one son-in-law; Travis Darley. Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. Visitation will be 1:00PM until service time on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Oliver Funeral Home. Rev. Willy Weddle will officiate. Pallbearers will be Clay Darley, Jason Darley, Jep Darley, Tal Evans, Greg Latham, Mack McLellan, Richard Weddle and Joe Worthy. Honorary Pallbearer will be Doug Evans. Interment will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Webster County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Philadelphia Cemetery. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora, MS is in charge of all arrangements.
