Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Thursday 9/30/21 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Visitation will be 12:30PM until 2:00PM Thursday 9/30/21 at Oliver Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held 2:00 PM Thursday 9/30/21 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Bro. Charles White officiated. Pallbearers were; Tyler Cook, John Reed, John Vaughn, Allen Latham, Kevin Latham, Cory Clark, Jimmy Clark, Robin Woods and Ty Swindle. She was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; Morris and Nora Strahan Hodges, two brothers Dalton Hodges and Shelton Hodges, four sisters; Odessa Peacock, Olene Grantham, Callie Gardner and Fannie Rivers. Mrs. Lena is survived by her son; Don Latham, Houston, MS, her daughter; Debbie (Richard) Burdine, Mathiston, MS, six grandchildren; Jennifer Clark, Devin Latham, Carrie Cowart, Allen Latham, Robin Vaughn and Pam Reed, one great grandson and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lena was a devoted Christian and Member of Spring Valley Baptist Church in Mathiston. She loved people and family and was a great prayer warrior for everyone she knew. She enjoyed reading her Bible, hearing gospel music, nature and watching Wheel of Fortune. She owned several restaurants over her lifetime. The Broken Arrow by the Natchez Trace, The Kozy Kitchen across from Shurdens Service Station in Mathiston, The Village Cafe on the front of her home in town and two Mall Cafes in Maben and one more beside her big house in Mathiston. Many Wood College students came to the Kozy Kitchen where Lena would feed them and give advice and life lessons, as well as all of her childrens high school friends
