Kenneth "Kent" Hardin Jr.

Kenneth "Kent" Hardin Jr., age 62, was born on May 29, 1960, in Calhoun City, MS, where he graduated high school (1978). Kent received his Associates Degree from Northwest Community College in Senatobia, MS, and began working for TDS. He transitioned to Tri-State Pest Control and later to Jim's Auto Parts in Eupora, MS where he enjoyed visiting with everyone and serving the community. He especially loved his devoted German Shepard "Max". Kent was preceded in death by his parents--Kenneth A. Hardin, Sr. (1999) and Linda Lewis Hardin Kay (2021). Kent was a member of First Baptist Church Eupora. Survivors include his wife; Lesa Davis Hardin, and two sons--Rev. Cody Lewis and wife Katie Watson Hardin of Pleasant View, TN and Colton Davis and wife Katie Ullrich Hardin of Tyler, TX. Kent has two grandchildren; Daniel and Grace Hardin. His stepfather, Anthony Kay lives in Clinton, MS. and his father and mother in law, Bobby and Joyce Davis live in Eupora, MS. Kent is also survived by a host of friends and family whom he cherished. Funeral Services were held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Eupora City Cemetery. Rev. Cody Hardin, Rev. Travis Gray and Dr. Anthony Kay officiated. Pallbearers were; James Barton, David Boatman, Michael Chandler, John Hardin, Joe Hays, Kevin Lewis, Van Perkins and Ricky Fred Spratlin. Honorary Pallbearers were; David Collins, Rodney Cooper, Will Gary, Jake Hughes, and Michael Watkins. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora, MS. was in charge of all arrangements.
