Kathie Henderson Collins

Kathie Henderson Collins, age 69 passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center Long Term Care in Eupora, MS. Kathie was born in Eupora, MS on July 30, 1954 to William Abner Henderson and Inez Missouri Neal Henderson. She was a Homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Eupora, MS. Kathie loved to sing and was a member of several Gospel groups over the years. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved having fun and had a beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She loved watching sports, especially Ole Miss Football. Fishing was also a favorite hobby of hers. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS with burial in North Union Cemetery in Bellefontaine, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held in the Chapel instead of North Union Cemetery. Rev. Will Livingston will officiate. Visitation will be 12Noon until 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Austin McGinnis, Hayden Embry, Cade Morrow, Casey Henderson, Jason Fields and Tanner Davis. Honorary Pallbearers are Bart Lucius and Tayler Hitt. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Abner Henderson and Inez Missouri Neal Henderson. Kathie is survived by her two daughters; Tera Collins (Trae) Embry of Walthall, MS and Miranda Collins (Bill) Morrow of Mathiston, MS, one sister; Jettie Henderson (Hal) Lucius of Eupora, MS, one brother; Dannie (Sherry) Henderson of Walthall, MS, five grandchildren; Austin (Taylor) McGinnis, Hayden Embry, Cade Morrow, Avery Morrow and Mary Claire Embry, and one great grandson; Kyler McGinnis. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
