Judy Dell Mitchell Upton White

Judy Dell Mitchell Upton White, a beloved homemaker, passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center Long Term Care Unit on July 22, 2024, at the age of 84 in Eupora, MS. She was born on February 2, 1940, in Tomnolen, MS to Dan Eldred Mitchell and Lou Young Fisackerly Mitchell. Judy touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She dedicated her life to creating a nurturing and loving home for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her plants and flower gardening, cooking for her family and friends and was talented with calligraphy. Judy was a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had many, many friends over the years who loved her as well. She loved Reed's Chapel Baptist Church and was very active there for years. In later years she attended and became a member of First Baptist Church in Eupora, MS. Judy is survived by a daughter; Lisa (John) Hays, Flowood, MS, a son; Mark (Paula) Burns, Eupora, MS, her grandchildren; Mitchell (Madison) Burns, Rob Smith, David (Dena) Hays, Daniel Hays, and great-grandchildren Kinsey Smith, Noah Burns, Emma Burns, and Carter Dinning. She is also survived by her step-children; Jerry (Marsha) Upton, Terri (Keith) Rayborn, Wanda (Jimmy) Smith, Nickie (Andy) Morris, Ron (Sheila) White, Dawn McBee and Debbie White and a host of step-grandchildren and step-grandchildren all of whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her parents; Dan Eldred Mitchell and Lou Young Fisackerly Mitchell, her husbands; Tom L. Upton and Ronnie White and one sister; Dannie Weidert. Funeral services for Judy Dell Mitchell Upton White will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 12Noon until time for services at 2:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will be at Reed's Chapel Cemetery in Webster County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Reed's Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Travis Gray will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Burns, Wyatt Chambley, Daniel Hays, David Hays, Gregg McCain and Rob Smith.
