The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Sapa Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday 9/25/22 at Oliver Funeral Home.Mr. Joe Shaffer, 78, retired welder with Babcock & Wilcox, died 9/21/22 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. Funeral Services were held 3:00PM Sunday 9/25/22 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sapa Cemetery in Webster Co. MS. Rev. Don Shaffer officiated. Pallbearers were; Chris Jackson, John Haynes, Rodney Henley, James Baxter, and Christopher Shaffer. He was a member of Lollars Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents; Ellis and Cory Faye Shaffer and his brother; Bill Shaffer. Mr. Joe is survived by his brother; Danny "Dan" (Betty) Shaffer, Myrtle, MS, a nephew; Rev Don (Christy) Shaffer, and a niece; Dana (John David) Haynes
