Jessie Mae Lollar Brown, 75, a long-time resident of Montevista went to be with the Lord on Tuesday the 17th of May at her home surrounded by her family. Born in 1946 in Calhoun County to Henry and Ruby Lollar, Jessie Mae was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a woman who loved her family beyond measures. She spent her life sacrificing and raising all of her children, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved fishing in her spare time. She had a love for cooking. Cooking for her family and friends for years and years was one of the many ways she shared her love. She always cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To know her was to love her, and the memories of her will be cherished and remembered forever. A Funeral Service celebrating her life was held on May 21, 2022 at 2:00pm at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Ms. There was a visitation held on May 21, 2022 from 12:00-2:00pm at Oliver Funeral Home. Bro. Jimmy Vance officiated the service. Serving as Pallbearers were, Parker Blaylock, Tyler Brown, Tanner Brown, Robert Blaylock, Matthew Moorehead, D.J. Chandler, Jesse Jones and Remington Jones. She is survived by her son; Sherman Brown, Montevista, MS, her daughter, Darlene Blaylock, Montevista, MS, five sisters; Margie Sue McCammon, Hazel Jean Hollis, Amanda Logan, Barbara Ann (Gary Lynn) Ferguson, and Jeffrey Lynn (Paul) Watson, two brothers; Sammy (Annette) Lollar, and Kenneth Lollar, six grandchildren; Shelda Smith (Jesse) Jones, Karley Blaylock, Parker Blaylock, Tyler Brown (Paisley), Marissa Brown, and Tanner Brown; three great-grandchildren, Destiny Avent, Remington Jones, and Carson Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruby Lollar; her husband, Tony Brown; her children, Jerry Kemp and Donna Kay Nichols; granddaughter, Renee Smith Avent; great-grandson, Hayden Langford; and brothers: A.V. Lollar, Buster Lollar, Charlie Lollar, and Jerry Lollar.
