Icie Lee Evans

Mrs. Icie Lee Warren Evans age 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Diversicare in Eupora, MS. Icie was born March 24, 1929, in Brilliant, AL to Calvin and Virtie Underwood Warren. She was a graduate of Marion County High School in Guin, AL and was a retired factory worker. Icie enjoyed singing, decorating her home, making beautiful flower arrangements and flower gardening. Mrs. Evans was a believer in Christ and a member of Center United Methodist Church in Brilliant, AL. Mrs. Icie is survived by her daughter, Sharrel (Tommy) Peacock, Mathiston, MS; one granddaughter, Kristen (Adam) Coward, Belden, MS and two great grandsons, Weston and Hayes Coward. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Brice Evans; both parents, Calvin and Virtie Underwood Warren; one sister Letha Franks and one brother, Donald Warren. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Center Cemetery in Brilliant, AL. Rev. Marcus Coward and Rev. Doran Henry will officiate the services. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is entrusted with all arrangements.
