Funeral Services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday 11/10/21 at Antioch Community Church with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. The Graveside/Committal services will be held in the Church instead of Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00Noon until 1:00PM Wednesday 11/10/21 at Antioch Community Church in Choctaw County, MS. Howard Herman Bowen, age 78, of Gore Springs, Mississippi, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 8, 1943 to Herman Jasper Bowen and Kitty Ruth Bowen. Howard was known to be a hard worker. He was a loving and devoted husband to Marie, his wife of 58 years. He was a loving, supportive, and dependable father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he was always there for his family when they needed him. Howard was loved and respected amongst his peers, family, and friends. He will be forever cherished and remembered by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Marie Bowen; his children, Catherine, Tina, and Jake; three grandchildren, Jessie, Laura, and Jezden; and three great-grandchildren, Jack, Koda, and Vivian. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Kitty; his daughter, Lisa; and his granddaughter, Jesenda.
