Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM Friday 2/10/23 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. with burial in Wood Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Wood Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00PM until 3:00PM Friday 2/10/23 at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora. Ernest Troy Bright, 78, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his residence in Star City, Arkansas. Funeral services were held 3:00PM Friday, February 10, 2023 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Wood Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. Rev. Jay Watson officiated. He was born in Choctaw County, MS, on September 8, 1944 to Jessie Ethel Bright and Helen Claire Franklin Bright. Troy was a long-time resident of Webster County, MS until he moved to Star City to help his late son, Ernest Lee with a construction company and last worked as a maintenance worker for several apartment complexes based out of Little Rock, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Ethel and Helen Claire Bright, three sons; Troy Dewayne Bright, Kevin Daniel Bright and Ernest Lee Bright, and one brother; Buddy Bright. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years; Maryland Elnora Woods Bright of Star City, AR, a daughter in law; Angela Waller Bright of Rison, AR, a sister; Helen Shaw of Eupora, MS and two grandchildren; Jonathan and Kimberly Bright.
