Edward Castle Givens age 56 of Eupora, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Merit Health River Oaks, Flowood, MS. Edward was born on May 3, 1968 in Eupora, MS to Charles Castle Givens and Margaret Ann Scogin Givens. He was a graduate of Eupora High School in Eupora, MS and a Rigger and Iron Worker. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and riding his motorcycle. Mr. Givens is survived by one daughter, Taylor Givens, Bowling Green, KY; two sons, Shane (Kaley) Givens, Harrisville, MS and Tyler Floyd, Baldwyn, MS; two sisters, Kathy (Bruce) Barnett, Clarkson, MS and Crissie (Terry) Ballard, Austin, TX; three brothers, John (Susan) Fields, Ely, IA, James Allen Givens, Jackson, MS and Jeffery Givens, Clarkson, MS; two grandchildren, Denim and Dakota Givens and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Castle Givens and Margaret Ann Scogin Givens. Funeral Services for Edward will be held at 12Noon on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 10:00AM until time for services at 12Noon at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, MS. Interment will follow at Webster Memorial Gardens in Eupora, MS. Rev. Trent Grantham will officiate the services. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is entrusted with all arrangements.
