Dora Ellison Moucha age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 7. 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center Long Term Care Unit in Eupora, MS. Dora was born September 12, 1941, in Webster County, MS to John Bunyan Ellison and Zenie Mae Wright Ellison. Dora was a florist and began her floral career at Millport Florist in Millport, AL, where she worked for many years. After moving to Mantee, MS, she began driving for UPS. Once she retired from UPS, she opened Mathiston Florist in Mathiston, MS, where she worked for many years. After selling the flower shop, she started at MSU Printing Shop and worked there a number of years before retiring. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. Visitation will begin at 12:30PM and go until time for services at 2:00PM Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Clarkson Cemetery. Rev. Wade Stevens will officiate with Mr. Butch Stewart and Mr. Paul Ellison sharing tributes. Pallbearers will be David Ellison, Haven Ellison, Ronnie Ellison, Erwin Henley, Kerry Henley, and Jim Wright. Mrs. Dora is survived by her two loving daughters; Donna (Michael) Brackin, Eupora, MS and Belinda Betts, Mantee, MS, one brother; Paul (Zula) Ellison, MO, five grandchildren; Allison Brackin Langley, J. Scott Brackin, Emily Brackin Welshans, Ronnie Betts, Jr., and James Steven "Stevie" Betts, Sr., nine great grandchildren; Jaxson Wyatt Griggs, Avori Jewel Welshans, Carson Betts, Hayden Betts, James "Steven" Betts, Jr., Bralynn Betts, Madison Bates, Landon Bates, Aiden Bates, and Blaine White and one great great grandchild; Landry Drew Betts. She is preceded in death by her parents; John Bunyan Ellison and Zenie Mae Wright Ellison, her loving husband for over fifty years; J. Winston Moucha, one sister; Bonnie Ellison Sturdivant and two brothers; J.B. Ellison and Joel Ellison. May we all come together to remember Dora Mae Ellison Moucha with fondness, gratitude, and love as we bid farewell to a remarkable woman whose memory will live on in our hearts forever. The family would like to say a very special thank you to all the nurses, aides, and staff at North Mississippi Medical Center Long Term Care Unit and Legacy Hospice for the love, care and concern they have shown for our mother.
