Donald "Pig" Ray Mitchell, age 69 of Stewart, MS passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora, MS. Donald "Pig" was born in Biloxi, MS on November 21, 1955, to Joseph Ralph Mitchell and Dorothy Ann Talley Mitchell. Pig as his family and friends knew him, was a retired factory worker and is survived by his son, Tyler Mitchell, Stewart, MS; a step-daughter, Amber Sisk (Rex) May, Stewart, MS; one step-son, Bryan Sisk, Stewart, MS; two sisters, Janice Mitchell (Kenny) May, Stewart, MS and Lisa Mitchell Davis, Stewart, MS; three brothers, James Mitchell, Stewart, MS, Roy Dennis Mitchell, Conroe, TX and Randy (Dana) Mitchell, Stewart, MS; three grandchildren, Nolan May, Jonah Sisk and Jameson Sisk and expecting a fourth grandchild in June, Oakley Ray Mitchell and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ralph Mitchell and Dorothy Ann Talley Mitchell and six brothers, Charles Mitchell, Danny Mitchell, Richard Mitchell, William Earl "Bill" Mitchell, Dale Mitchell and Joe Martin. Funeral Services for Mr. Mitchell will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. The Mitchell family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of Visitation on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00AM until time for services at 11:00AM at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Ebenezer Cemetery. Rev. Derek May will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Tyler Mitchell, Bryan Sisk, Neal Davis, Justin May, Conner Mitchell and Austin Miles. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is entrusted with all arrangements.
