Funeral Services will be held Noon, Saturday, 10/30/21 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Clarkson Cemetery in Webster County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held in the Chapel instead of Clarkson Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00AM until Noon, Saturday 10/30/21 at Oliver Funeral Home. D.D. left us Monday 10/25/21 to rest in the presence of Jesus. He was born 9/19/57 in Houston, TX to John Allen and Mary Denney. D.D. was the third of five children. His family moved often while he was growing up, and he attended various schools. He attended Greenville High School in Greenville, MS. He also received Diesel Mechanic training at the Golden Triangle Vocational School He had an assorted variety of occupations throughout the years as he was a multi-talented individual. One of those was at Boeing Aircraft in Greenville, MS. While there, he invented a tool he coined as the "Denney Wedge." That tool aided tremendously in the aircraft work he was performing at the time. D.D. lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. Family was a priority to him. He loved his nieces and nephews like his own and was a constant presence in their lives for many events and milestones. D. D. was passionate about helping people and a very generous man. He was preceded in death by his parents John Allen Denney and Mary Berry Denney. He is survived by his brother, Allen Denney, Mountain, Home, AR, his sister; Brenda Bland, Tomball, TX, his sister; Faye (Roger) Stringer, Bay Springs, MS and his brother Walter Denney, Florence, MS. He has 7 nieces, 2 nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. D. D. had a bigger than life personality and his favorite hobby was to make people laugh. D. D. will be dearly missed
