Danny Phillip Brown

Danny Phillip Brown age 75, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Center in Tupelo, MS. Danny was born in West Palm Beach, FL, August 30, 1949, to Clyde Vernon Brown and Ollie Swindoll Brown. Danny was a retired truck driver, member of Midway Church of Christ and also served in the United States Marines. He enjoyed spending time fishing, doing woodwork and mechanic work. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Alene Joyner Brown, Columbus, MS; one daughter, Veronica (Kevin) Brown Taylor, Mathiston, MS; two brothers, James (Pam) Brown, Maben, MS and Paul (Paula) Brown, Hohenwald, TN; six grandchildren, Matthew Farmer, Phillip Lucas, Cassie Taylor, Will Taylor, Tristan Johnson and Savanna Johnson; one great granddaughter, Eilidh Farmer and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cassie Brown; one daughter, Teresa Johnson; his parents, Clyde Vernon Brown and Ollie Swindoll Brown and one sister, Ollie C. Brown. Funeral Services for Mr. Brown will be held at 12:00Noon Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 11:00AM until time for services at 12:00Noon on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Double Springs Methodist Cemetery in Oktibbeha County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Double Springs Methodist Cemetery. Rev. Don Parish will officiate.
