Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Saturday 4/22/23 at Double Springs Baptist Church in Oktibbeha County, MS with burial in the Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Oktibbeha County, MS. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Double Springs Baptist Church instead of Clear Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 12Noon until 2:00PM Saturday 4/22/23 at Double Springs Baptist Church. Oliver Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Mr. Clyde J. Barmore, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center in Starkville. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Double Springs Baptist Church in Oktibbeha County. Burial was in Clear Springs Cemetery. Visitation was from noon until service time Saturday. Bro. Michael Baham and Bro. Martin "Shorty" Carden officiated. Mr. Barmore was retired from Mississippi State University. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of his life. He loved spending time with them. Clyde was known as a very giving person who was always willing to help anyone in need. He was blessed with the ability to do just about anything from carpentry work to welding and mechanic work. He was preceded in death by sisters, Verlie Benson and Lorene Barmore. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Linda White Barmore of Maben, MS; son, Billy Barmore of Maben, MS; sister, Inez Swindle of Eupora, MS; grandchildren, Candance Barmore, Erica (Chace) Gilliland, Kelsey Barmore; great grandchildren, Bryson Johnson, Braxton Stokes Paisley Gilliland and Emberly Gilliland. Pallbearers were Billy Carpenter, Kenneth Reaves, Bud Rhodes Andy Young, Frank Williamson and Kenny Paul Boykin
