Charles "Charlie" Robert Privett, Jr. age 40 of Eupora, MS, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday, April 6, 2025, at his residence in Eupora, MS. Charlie was born on February 17, 1985, in Helena, Arkansas to Charles Robert Privett, Sr. and Kathryn Suzanne Stevens. He was an operator at Dewberry Sawmill in Maben, MS and an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed raising all types of animals, riding backroads and spending time with his family. Charlie is survived by his Fiancé, Lauren Rettig, Eupora, MS; two children, Kaleb Privett and Emily Privett both of Eupora, MS; mother, Kathryn Suzanne Stevens, Eupora, MS; one sister, Christy (Kasey) Privett Reeves, Maben, MS and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Robert Privett, Sr. and both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Charlie will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Wednesday evening, April 9, 2025, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and from 9:00AM until time for services on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Bro. David Patterson will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Kasey Reeves, Bill Reeves, Keffer Reeves, Brad Kwasniewski, Tyler Bounds, Terry Gill and Tyson Steen. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is entrusted with all arrangements.
