Visitation will be 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday 4/7/24 at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, MS and on Monday 4/8/24 at 10:00AM until service time at 11:00AM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Choctaw County, MS. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS. Brenda Jones, 72, retired secretary passed away April 3, 2024 at her residence in Eupora, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, April 8, 2024 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Mathiston, MS with burial in Fellowship Cemetery in Choctaw County. Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora, MS and on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 10:00AM until Service time at Fellowship Baptist Church in Mathiston, MS. Rev. Brent Manasco and Rev. Ralph Cain will Officiate. Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Cummings, Stephan Scogin, Rodney Pollard, James Bennett, Randy Singleton and Curtis Rice. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mathiston, MS. Brenda is survived by a daughter; Suzanne (Stephen) Scogin of Eupora, MS, a son; Timothy (Sonya) Anderson of Caledonia, MS, one sister; Debra (Curtis) Rice of Flora, MS, one sister-in-law; Nancy Singleton of Bessemer, AL, one aunt; Quida Walker of Canton, MS, three grandchildren; Lisa (Rodney) Pollard, James (Ashley) Bennett and Breland Anderson and five great grandchildren; Ashlynn Pollard, Colton Pollard, Ember Bennett, Oaklynn Bennett and Kai Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents; W.J. and Cleo Mae Boatman Singleton, one sister; Etta Jane Romaine and one brother; James Milton Singleton. Brenda was born July 16, 1951 in Kilmichael, MS to W.J. and Cleo Mae Boatman Singleton. She enjoyed shopping, making Christmas cookies and candies, crocheting, cleaning, planting and spending time with her family. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
