John Lumbley officiated. He was preceded in death by his parents; Oscar and Rosie Childress, daughter; Sheila Kay Childress, two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Barney is survived by his wife; Joyce Shaw Childress, Stewart, MS., two sons; Barney Joe (Robin Sims) Childress, Saraland, AL and Gregory Glen Childress, Stewart, MS., brother; Tommy Childress, Eupora, MS and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
