Annice Henry Breland

Annice Henry Breland age 94, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS. She was born January 30, 1930 to the late Herron and Sib Henry in Choctaw County, MS. Annice was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Choctaw County, MS. In July of 1948 Annice married Doyce Breland and they shared more than sixty years together before his death in 2012. Annice is survived by her daughter; Linda (Gary) Chesser of Starkville, MS, two sons; Ricky (Kathy) Breland of Mathiston, MS and Michael Breland of Hobbs, NM and one sister; Maudie Young of West Point, MS. She was blessed by ten grandchildren; Tracey Stewart, Becky Hill, Cindy White, Daniel Chesser, Zach Chesser, Nicole McCulloch, Brian Breland, Scott Breland, Shelly Short and Cory Brooks, twenty-two great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Herron Otis Henry and Sylbie Jones Henry, her loving husband; Doyce Breland, her bonus son; Doyce Warren Breland and nine other siblings. Funeral Services for Mrs. Breland will be held at 2:00PM Monday, September 9, 2024, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Choctaw County, MS. Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2024 from 1:00PM until time for services at Fellowship Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Todd Chesser and Rev. Willy Weddle will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mason Pruden, Daniel Chesser, Zach Chesser, Taylor Norwood, Brody White and Tanner Hardy. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is honored to handle all arrangements.
