Dean Hall passed away after an extended illness surrounded by loved ones on April 21, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Eupora, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Eupora, MS. A time of visitation will be from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 21, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Eupora. Interment will be in the Eupora City Cemetery in Eupora. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at First Baptist Church instead of the Eupora City Cemetery. Rev. Travis Gray and Rev. Hugh Bland will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or the charity of your choice. Dean was the devoted husband of Sue Hughes Hall for 72 years. He was the loving father of Beth Sewell and Dan (Amy) Hall. He was the grandfather of Elizabeth Palmer (Brian) and Sarah Beth Sewell and the great-grandfather to Emma and Eliza Palmer. He is also survived by his brother David (Peggy) Hall and many nieces and nephews. Dean was born on March 12, 1933 and graduated from Eupora High School in 1951. He attended Mississippi State University and was the owner of Hall’s Feed Mill and Hall Insurance Agency in Eupora until his retirement. He served as a Webster County Supervisor for twenty years. Dean was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eupora, Mississippi from June 4, 1945 until his death with the exception of two years when he served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed all outdoor activities with hunting and fishing being his passion. He cherished his family and friends and he was exceedingly grateful and proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as his extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alcy Dean Hall, Sr. and Frances Elizabeth (Fannie) Ogg Hall and son-in-law Billy W. Sewell. Oliver Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
